Coconut Dream Smoothie
This smoothie won't make you sleepy but is sure to inspire sweet dreams due to its dreamy cloud like color. Full fat coconut milk adds a tropical flavor and a creamy texture and your brain will love it as the brain is said to be almost 70% fat and coconut is a RICH source of healthy fats such as Caprylic and Lauric acid. Fresh or frozen blueberries give a nice tart flavor and a perfect lavender color!
GATHER
1/3 cup full fat canned coconut milk ( I love Natural Value)
1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
1/2 cup frozen organic blueberries
1/2 frozen banana
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup ice
1/4 cup dang unsweetened toasted coconut ships (option to use plain coconut shreds)
MAKE
Add all ingredients with the exception of the coconut chips to the blender and blend well. Option to stir in coconut shreds/chips or sprinkle on top of smoothie and enjoy!
